More About Carrie
I’m a native New Englander, turned New Yorker, turned California girl! Following a dance career, I worked in psychiatric hospitals as a Dance Therapist before I returned to school for another master’s degree in School Psychology.
After many years as a Licensed Educational Psychologist helping families and students navigate the world of special education, I retired to become a full time travel blogger.
All the while, I mothered our two perfectly amazing daughters and shared in a love for Jazz with my husband, Dann Zinn, the renowned saxophone player. My passion for writing, travel, and photography is always a source of inspiration as we enjoy the empty nester life. You’ll find us in the Bay Area, creating and traveling whenever we can.
